Look out for Takeoff’s solo album.
The Blast reports that Offset’s mother, Latabia Woodward, explained why Takeoff wasn’t alongside Set and Quavo during the AMA’s to accept the award for Favorite Duo/Group in the Pop/Rock category. In a social media comment, Woodward reportedly said that Take is getting ready to release his solo album after Quavo and he’s been steadily grinding away in the studio.
“It’s still 3 of them. Take is working on his solo album which releases soon after Quavo’s. Each of them are releasing solo projects,” Woodward replied to a fan who questioned why Takeoff wasn’t with the other two members of the group.

For a while, fans have been waiting for solo music from Takeoff. This year, he was praised for his work on Migos‘ Culture II, with many agreeing that he stole the spotlight on the album.
In an interview with Hypebeast, Quavo explained why Takeoff is so low-key in the public eye.
“He likes to work and mind his business. He doesn’t like to be involved in a lot of things, he just likes to make good music for the people,” Quavo said.
With Quavo gearing up to release Quavo Huncho this Friday, hopefully, Takeoff’s album comes shortly after.
