Maskandi Musician, iQhawe LakoMenziwa Shot Dead

Maskandi Musician and ubunsizwa-hitmaker, iQhawe LakoMenziwa, real name Sjula Biyela has been shot dead by the police. iQhawe LakoMenziwa and three others were fatally shot in a crossfire with police at Ntibane Lodge in Babanango, KZN.

iQhawe LakoMenziwa and his other three colleagues were suspected hitmen who were wanted by the police for several murders last year.

According to the statement by the police, iQhawe LakoMenziwa and his gang were hiding in a lodge and when the police found their hideouts and asked them to surrender, the suspects opened fire, prompting a shoot-out.
