#HeyNeighbour: Kendrick Lamar Shuts Down South Africa
Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the #HeyNeighbour Festival which was held at Pretoria was a massive success. The event which started on the weekend of December 8th will end today, 10th December 2023.
Kendrick Lamar was the main headliner of the show, and his energetic performance was unparalleled. Believe me when I say he delivered one of the greatest live performances you would ever see.
This marks Kendrick Lamar’s second visit to Mzansi, with his first trip dating back to 2014. According to him, the 2014 visit to the country served as inspiration for his album of the decade, “To Pimp A Butterfly.”
Kendrick Lamar performed all of his fans favourites including “Love,” “Loyalty,” “Alright,” “DNA,” “Swimming Pool,” “don’t kill my vibe,” “Money Trees,” and “Rich Spirit.” Kendrick performed for a whooping one hour.
