Future and Juice WRLD may grab #1.
Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s A Star Is Born soundtrack has been sitting pretty at number one on Billboard. Future and Juice WRLD may come and knock them down a spot though, as first week projections for their WRLD on Drugs project look promising. As reported by Hits Daily Double, the collaborative album is projected to sell 95-105,000 equivalent album units, with roughly 7-10,000 of those coming from pure sales.
Lil Yachty also came through with a new album release this weekend, gracing the world with Nuthin’ 2 Prove. His third studio album is projected to move 35-40,000 equivalent album units, with only 1-2,000 of those coming from pure sales. As expected, Yachty’s strength comes from his streaming numbers. Khalid also released a project, entitled Suncity, which is projected to sell 40-45,000 album equivalent units, with 9-12,000 coming from pure sales. Unless there’s an intense fluctuation in streams or sales over the weekend, Future and Juice WRLD will unseat Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.
