Details on HHP’s Memorial Service and Funeral: His death sent shock waves across South Africa’s music space, not only because Jabulani “HHP” Tsambo was young (38 years old), but because his death came just months after the death the iconic Pro, also called ProKid, the “Dankie San” hitmaker.
The cause of death is not known, as the family is yet to volunteer that information at the moment. However, what the country knows is that the rapper, who Solo And The Betr Gang co-opted on “Death or This” in September alongside Ginger and KT, is gone forever.
The grief is palpable, especially among those who were closest to the rapper, more so as his memorial and funeral are imminent.
The family has released a statement about the memorial and funeral service. According to the family, there would be two memorial services. The first would be held today Tuesday October 30, 2018, at Newtown Music Factory (former Bassline (same place were Pro’s memorial held months ago)), from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Another memorial service is scheduled to hold on Thursday November 1, 2018, at Mmabatho Convention Centre, Mahikeng, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On Saturday November 3, three days after the second memorial service, the funeral would hold at Mmabatho, Mahikeng. The family would confirm the exact venue and time.
