Tory Lanez strongly disagrees.
Tory Lanez shared a snippet of their conversation in which both men engaged in a riled up disagreement. The “STOOPID” rapper explained how he could simply ghostwrite for the aspiring artist: “I’ll write her some sh*t. I’ll be like,’Yo, Jade. You know what? You gon’ rap today.'”
When he’s asked whether he thinks Jade “will go like Cardi B,” the rapper replies with confidence: “She’ll go bigger.” Lanez was adamant about his disagreement with this opinion. He claims that it takes more than rapping skills to rise to the kind of success achieved by the “Bodak Yellow” star.
“Jade, no disrespect to you, but you’re not gonna go like Cardi B. People love Cardi B’s personality. She’s somebody that came from the dirt and rise up, and you can’t take that away from her.”
