Lana Del Rey shared a snippet of a song on her Instagram account with Machine Gun Kelly rapping over a beat that sounds custom-made for her. She tagged the artist, teasing a collaboration between them in the near future. While the lyrics we hear don’t sound like they can relate to Eminem (this sounds like a love song…) some supporters of the two think there may be some disses thrown in here. You’ll recall Em has said that he would “punch Lana Del Rey right in the face” in the past and Complex notes that linking up with MGK could be leading to her response.
Others are thinking that the two will be going at G-Eazy and considering both of their pasts with him, it’s possible. Still, I maintain that this sounds like the furthest thing from a diss record. The snippet makes this appear to be a track about relationships. Don’t get your hopes up for “Rap Devil Pt. 2…”
