Drake, Nicki Minaj, The Game, and others reacted to the release of “Tha Carter V.”
Last night, we were finally given Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter V, which we had waited years to be able to listen to. The album features XXXTentacion, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, and many others. With the wait finally over, we now have the opportunity to listen to the project a few times and decide if our patience truly paid off. And that’s what we intend on doing as we have the entire weekend in front of us to pick out our favorite tracks from the work of art. Many of Wayne’s peers were waiting along with the rest of us, mirroring our excitement when the clock struck midnight. Some couldn’t contain their emotions, screaming from the rooftops on social media about finally being able to download C5. Everybody from Drake, Nicki Minaj, T.I., Chief Keef, Meek Mill, and others reminded everybody that it was time to check out one of the most highly-anticipated albums of the entire decade. It’s too early to figure if the wait was well rewarded but based on early reviews of the project, Weezy’s hardcore fans seem to be extremely pleased with the end result.
