Baltimore Rapper Nick Breed Who Campaigned For Nonviolence, Dead At 24
His sudden death sent shockwaves around Edmondson Village community he called home. Besides holding the distinction of being a buzzing artist with “all-city” credentials, Nick Breed also occupied an important foothold with the younger residents of the Edmondson Village. Lynn Forman, a Baltimore Ceasefire ambassador, who called the Village home, spoke about the tragic repercussion of Breed’s death on his pupils.
Baltimore rap crew Creek Boyz offered their sympathies via Instagram, as did several other constituents of the Baltimore rap scene. RIP Dominic Gantt; may his spirit of servitude get passed down to future generations.
